Salford TEK Eagles Explainer Videos Launched
In partnership with the NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning group, we have produced a series of five explainer videos to help keep you safe during the COVID pandemic.
These videos aim to be accessible for all, and have been produced in 11 different community languages, including Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali and Arabic.
As part of our new Salford TEK Eagles initiative, we have been unable to deliver our face-to-face workshops in their usual format.
Instead, we have opted for a more digital-focused approach, relevant to the current pandemic and a source of information for those who may be overwhelmed by the constantly-changing information.
Adil Mohammed Javed, Alchemy Arts CEO & Artistic Director, said: “We are really excited to properly launch our range of videos, which have been in the works for quite a while now.
“With the assistance and support of the NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group, we have been able to produce a range of videos that will support people, not just in the Salford community but across the country.
“For a lot of people in the United Kingdom, English isn’t their first language. To combat that, our videos are available in 11 different community languages, which will certainly help to provide clear and concise information in a way that is relevant to our diverse audience.
“It can be quite scary sometimes switching on the TV and hearing different views and regulations about Coronavirus. Local restrictions continue to change across the country, so there is no better time to provide the essential information in a clear and concise way.”
You can watch all the videos from all 11 community languages below:
